A túlnépesedés, az olajhozamcsúcs eljövetele, a környezetvédelmi problémák és a háborúk miatt könnyen lehet, hogy a közeljövőben nagy gazdasági válság vár ránk. Úgy gondolom, hogy egy ilyen válságban a legfontosabb, hogy az embereknek legyen mit ennie. A mi gazdasági rendszerünkben az élelem jelentős részét mezőgazdasági gépek segítségével termelik meg. Ha viszont elfogy az ilyen gépek működtetéséhez szükséges üzemanyag, akkor baj lesz. Ki aratja le akkor a búzát? Ezért szerintem fontos lenne, hogy legyenek elektromossággal vagy hidrogénnel működő mezőgazdasági gépeink is, és az ilyen gépeket előállító gyárak fontosabbak lehetnek, mint az elektromos személyautókat előállítók. De az elektromos személyautóknál még a környezetbarát tömegközlekedési eszközök is fontosabbak lehetnek. Az országok vezetőinek és/vagy a tanácsadóiknak el kellene gondolkodniuk az ilyen dolgokon, hogy jobban felkészüljünk a válságra.
Due to overpopulation and peak oil, environmental problems and wars it is verily possible that there will be a great economic crisis in the near future. I think that the most important thing in such a crisis is that the people should have something to eat. In our economic system, a considerable part of food is produced by agricultural machinery. But if the fuel for those machines runs out, then there will be problems. Who will then reap the corn (wheat)? Therefore, I think it may be important that we also have agricultural machinery powered by electricity or hydrogen fuel, and factories that produce such machines may be more important than those which produce electric passenger cars. By the way, even eco-friendly public transport vehicles may be more important than electric cars. The leaders of countries and/or their advisors should think about such things, in order to better prepare for the crisis.
